Comments on Draft Regulatory Guides, DG-1114, "Control Room Habitability at Nuclear Power Reactors," and DG-1115, "Demonstrating Control Room Envelope Integrity at Nuclear Power Reactors" 67FR14992 dated March 28, 2002 Duke Energy offers the following comments relative to the solicitation for public comments regarding Draft Regulatory Guides, DG-1 114, "Control Room Habitability at Nuclear Power Reactors," and DG-1115, "Demonstrating Control Room Envelope Integrity at Nuclear Power Reactors" as published in the Federal Register dated March 28, 2002.
The Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) recently submitted detailed industry comments regarding the referenced draft Regulatory Guides on June 28, 2002. Duke Energy fully endorses the comments provided by NEI regarding DG-1 114 and DG-1 115 and is appreciative of their extensive efforts on this very important issue.
