Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528/5291530 APS' Response to Request for Comments on Information Provided During Technical Assessment of Generic Issue 186 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) requested in the referenced letter that Arizona Public Service (APS) review the draft NUREG report being issued as a result of the technical assessment of potential risk and consequences of heavy load drops in Nuclear Power Plants (Generic Issue 186). The RES also requested APS check the accuracy of PVNGS specific information and provide comments by May 31, 2002.

APS has completed our review of the draft NUREG and the PVNGS technical information and have no comments.

There are no commitments being made to the NRC by this letter.
