Dear Mr. Collins:
On March 15, 2002, PSEG Nuclear, LLC, submitted a letter in response to the Issuance of Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures that was issued by the NRC on February 25, 2002. This letter provides additional information concerning two of the elements of our response that werediscussed in telephone conversations on April 30, 2002, and May 2, 2002, with NRC staff members.
The information that is included as an attachment to this letter provides additional detail concerning how PSEG Nuclear's response achieves the intended objectives of the order elements in question. PSEG Nuclear, LLC, considers the attached response to be Safeguards Information in accordance with 1 OCFR73.21.
