SUBJECT:
PUBLIC MEETING WITH FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY ON THE LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR ST. LUCIE UNITS 1 AND 2 On January 16, 2002, the staff met with members of Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) in a public meeting to discuss the license renewal application for St. Lucie Units 1 and 2. The list of attendees is provided in Attachment 1. Also attached are the meeting agenda (Attachment
- 2) and handouts provided by the applicant during the meeting (Attachment 3).
Of particular note, FPL provided an in depth discussion of its implementation of NUREG-1801, Generic Aging Lessons Learned (GALL) Report, as well as a general discussion of the differences in licensing bases of unit 1 and 2.
