2001 Occupational Radiation Exposure The attached table summarizes the distribution of radiation exposure by Job Function, Work Group and Employer for the year 2001. The methodology and format used to prepare the table meets the reporting requirements for of Palisades Technical Specification 5.6.1.
Occupational exposures are derived from Electronic Dosimeter (ED) data and are adjusted using a correction factor to reflect cumulative site Total Effective Dose Equivalent (TEDE).
Palisades Technical Specification 5.6.1 requires that work designated as Special Maintenance be described. There were 21 Radiation Work Permits for work designated as Special Maintenance. The scope of each is summarized below:

Replace the High Pressure Air Compressor Dryer

Extend grating in the 602' elevation doghouse
- 3.
Perform weld buildup on the Shutdown Cooling Heat Exchanger saddle
- 4.
Modification and maintenance on High Pressure Air Compressor

- 6.
Decontamination Support for Control Rod Drive #21 repair
- 7.
Remove Control Rod Drive #21. upper support housing
- 8.
Cutting Control Rod Drive #21 housing
- 9.
Control Rod Drive support tube removal, transport and replacement
- 10.
Remove Control Rod Drive seismic restraints
- 11.
Remove 35 Control Rod Drive housings
- 12.
Reinstall Control Rod Drive housings
