-287 Oconee Nuclear Station Units 1, 2, and 3 Withdrawal of Proposed License Amendment Regarding Revisions to the Licensing Basis for the UFSAR Section on Water Level (Flood) Design By letter dated December 20,
- 2001, Duke Energy Corporation (Duke) requested an amendment to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55 for Oconee Nuclear Station (ONS)
Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively, to revise the licensing basis associated with the failure of non-Category I (non-seismic) piping in the Auxiliary Building.
Based on research and discussions with NRC Staff, Duke plans to revise the justification and approach for the request and submit a new license amendment request at a later date.
As such, Duke withdraws the December 20, 2001 request.
