SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Nine Mile Point Unit Two operated with a capacity factor (MDC) of 48.14% and an availability factor of 48.33% for the month of March 2002.
On March 7, 2002 at 1028 hours0.0119 days <br />0.286 hours <br />0.0017 weeks <br />3.91154e-4 months <br />, extraction steam isolation valve 2ESS-MOV28B closed on hi-hi level in the 5 ' point "B" feedwater heater. Power was lowered to approximately 88%. Repairs to the "B" feedwater heater string level controls were performed and the unit returned to full power the same day at 2110 hours0.0244 days <br />0.586 hours <br />0.00349 weeks <br />8.02855e-4 months <br />.
Power reduction for Refuel Outage RFO-08 commenced at 1900 hours0.022 days <br />0.528 hours <br />0.00314 weeks <br />7.2295e-4 months <br /> on March 15, 2002.
