WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN (TAC NOS. MB2992, MB2993, AND MB2994)

Dear Mr. Overbeck:

In your application dated September 18, 2001 (102-04609), you requested an amendment to the Physical Security Plan for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3. In the letter dated February 6, 2002 (102-04652), you stated that the amendment request was being withdrawn. This letter acknowledges that the application has been withdrawn, and the NRC staffs review of your application and the subject TAC numbers for the review have been closed.

A notice of withdrawal of the application for amendment will not be filed with the Office of the Federal Register for publication because a notice of consideration of the amendment was not published.
