Dear Sir or Madam:
In response to the events of September 11, 2001 Entergy, on its own and in response to subsequent NRC Advisories, promptly initiated and maintained heightened security measures.
As a result, many of the requirements imposed by the Order Modifying Licenses (Order) are already substantially in place and we have begun implementation of remaining requirements as delineated herein.
Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.4, the attachment responses to Section II1. B. and C. of the referenced Order.
contains safeguards information, as defined in 10CFR73.21.
attachment be withheld from public disclosure to this letter contains Entergy's to this response Entergy therefore requests this Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR2.202(a)(2), the Answer to the Order, is being transmitted to the Secretary of the Commission under separate cover. Also transmitted under separate cover to the Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation is a request for an extension of time in which to request a hearing.
