INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING UNIT NO. 3 - CORRECTIONS TO AMENDMENT NO. 209 (TAC NO. MB3356)
Dear Mr. Kansler:
In a letter dated January 17, 2002, the Commission issued Amendment No. 209 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-64 for the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit No. 3 (IP3).
Amendment No. 209 consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to an application from Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., dated October 23, 2001, as supplemented on December 20, 2001, to revise TS Surveillance Requirement (SR) 3.8.4.1 to support the replacement of the station batteries.
When the Commission issued the amendment, revised TS page 3.8.4-2 had an editorial error in SR 3.8.4.1. The error consisted of 2 requirements being listed as SR 3.8.4.1.b rather than one of them being SR 3.8.4.1.c. Therefore, the corrected TS page 3.8.4-2 for License Amendment No. 209 is provided as a replacement.
