DPR-16/Docket 50-219 Fitness For Duty (FFD) Semi-Annual Report July 2001 - December 2001 Pursuant to 10 CFR 26.71 (d), AmerGen Energy Company, LLC hereby submits the FFD Performance Data Reports for Oyster Creek Generating Station for the period July 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001. As required, each separate report provides the following information:
- i. Drugs tested for, and cut-off levels; ii. Number tested (by Category and Total), and results by population and type of test; iii. Substance(s) identified; iv. Random testing rate;
- v. Summary of Management Action(s);
vi. Workforce population tested (average number with unescorted access); and, vii. List of events reported.

PERFORMANCE DATA FOR PERSONNEL SUBJECT TO 10 CFR 26 REPORT F-RIOD: JULY 2001 - DECEMBER 2001 OYSTER CREEK - ATTACHMENT - Page 1 TESTING RATE
- 1. The annualized random testing rate for Oyster Creek Licensee Employees was 56.19%.
- 2. The annualized random testing rate for Oyster Creek Contractor Personnel was 68.09%.
SUMMARY
OF MANAGEMENT ACTIONS
- 1. There were no (0) Licensee Pre-Access Positive tests during the reporting period. There were two (2) Licensee Positive Random tests during the period. One positive test for Marijuana and one positive test for Alcohol. The individual who tested positive for Alcohol is a Licensed Operator. In addition, there was one (1) Licensee Positive "For-Cause/Observed Behavior" alcohol test during the period. In all of these cases, the individual's Access was immediately suspended and the matter was handled in accordance with the AmerGen FFD Policy/Disciplinary Policy.
- 2. There were three (3) Contractor Pre-Access Positive tests during the reporting period. Two (2) tested positive for Drugs, and one (1) tested positive for Alcohol. All of these individuals were denied access to the Protected Area. There were two (2) Contractor Random Positive tests during the reporting period. One (1) tested positive for Drugs, and one (1) tested positive for Alcohol. All of these individuals were denied access to the Protected Area.
LIST OF EVENTS REPORTED
- 1. On November 23, 2001, a Licensed Operator tested Positive for Alcohol during a Random Drug/Alcohol Test (noted in #1 above). The incident was reported to the NRC in accordance with 1 0-CFR-26.73. The individual's Access was immediately suspended and the matter was handled in accordance with the AmerGen FFD/Disciplinary Policy.
