Dear Mr. McCollum:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Larry Nicholson of your staff and myself on January 24, 2002, concerning a meeting which has been scheduled for February 8, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. You requested this meeting to discuss corrective actions which have been developed with respect to tornado mitigation strategies at the Oconee Nuclear Station. The location of the meeting will be at the NRC Region II Office in the Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street, Suite 24T20, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. This meeting is an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 2000; 65 FR 56964).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
