COMMISSIONER MERRIFIELD'S TOUR OF CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 & 2 ON JANUARY 24, 2002 This is to inform the parties that Commissioner Jeffrey S. Merrifield will tour the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 3 and 4, on Thursday, January 24, 2002. This is a routine plant visit to obtain a general familiarity with the facility and its operations. The Commissioner will not be discussing the license renewal applications for Catawba or McGuire, or the merits of any contention at issue in the adjudicatory proceeding involving these facilities.
