In accordance with the requirements of reference 2, PSEG notified the NRC on August 30, 2012 prior to the intended first use of the software. On September 6, 2012 it was discovered that the PGP software had been used on August 7,2012. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the error in Letter NR-N12-0282. This issue has been documented in our Corrective Action Program.
The software that was used on August 7,2012 was PGP Desktop Professional 10.2 which was developed using Software Development Kit (SDK) 4.2.1 and reference Consolidated Validation Certificate 1681.
Document Control Desk LR-N12-0310 SEP 142012 This meets the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 Cryptographic Module identified in Regulatory Information Summary (RIS) 2002-15 revision 1.
