Dear Mr. Cobey:
This letter is written to identify an error discovered in the data in two metrics submitted in the referenced PSEG letter. This was the initial quarterly transmittal of metrics for improving the work environment at Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations.
In preparation for submitting last quarter's metrics, a data error was identified in the Salem Unit 1 and Salem Unit 2 Operational Challenges metrics. The reported and corrected operational challenge numbers for the affected months is provided below.
Mr. E. Cobey LR-N05-0027 JAN 1 4 2005 The Operational Challenges metric data for Hope Creek was revalidated and is correct. The Salem Unit 1 and Salem Unit 2 Operational Challenges metrics will be corrected in the upcoming quarterly submittal. Additionally, both the Salem Unit 1 and Salem Unit 2 Operational Challenges metrics analysis in the upcoming quarterly submittal will consider the corrected data. The error is being tracked in the corrective action program (CAP).
