50-354 Hope Creek 07/08/02 R. Ritzman (856) 339-1445 Summary Of Monthly Operatinq Experience Hope Creek began the month at 100% power.
On June 10, Hope Creek reduced power to approximately 75% as requested by the Load Dispatcher due to a fire near the 500KV 5021 Deans Line.
Power was restored to approximately 100% on June 11.
On June 15, power was reduced to approximately 40% power to perform plant maintenance on the Motor Generator set brushes. Power was restored to 100% on June 18.
On June 22, Hope Creek automatically scrammed due to a turbine runback and turbine trip resulting from the loss of a secondary condensate pump and Moisture Separator high level. The unit was brought back on-line on June 27.
" At the end of the month, Hope Creek competed 3 days of continuous on-line operation.
