Subject:

Organizational and Management Change for Fort Calhoun Station (FCS), Unit No. 1 The purpose of this letter is to announce organizational and personnel changes which have taken place at Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1, following the certification of permanent fuel removal at FCS (Reference) which is owned and operated by the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD). The organizational title of Site Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO) has been changed to the Senior Director -FCS Decommissioning and the organizational title of Plant Manager has been changed to Plant Manager Decommissioning.

Along with these organizational title changes, the personnel responsible for these positions have also changed. Ms. Mary J. Fisher has assumed leadership of the decommissioning organization as the Senior Director-FCS Decommissioning replacing Mr. Shane M. Marik who was previously the Site Vice President and CNO. Correspondence should henceforth be addressed to Ms. Fisher. In addition, Mr. Timothy S. Uehling has replaced Mr. Todd A. Tierney as the Plant Manager Decommissioning.

Correspondence for the Plant Manager Decommissioning should henceforth be addressed to Mr. Uehling. In accordance with the provisions of Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS)01-018, "Requirements for Oath or Affirmation," Ms. Fisher and Mr. Uehling have been granted the authority to represent OPPD on matters before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and to sign certain FCS-related documents under oath and affirmation.
