SUBJECT:

Revision of Response to Interim Compensatory Measure B.4.h of the Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures Order In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4, Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) hereby submits information in response to the Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures (hereinafter "Order") issued by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on February 25, 2002 (Reference 2). This submittal supersedes and revises the information provided in Reference 3 with respect to Interim Compensatory Measure (ICM)

B.4.h. This submittal does not alter the information provided in OPPD's Answer to the Order (References 4 and 5).

In Reference 3, OPPD provided its response to Reference 2 for Fort Calhoun Station Unit No. 1 (FCS). In Reference 3, FCS stated that implementation of ICM B.4.h at FCS was not necessary since FCS had no equipment meeting the criteria of ICM B.4.h. OPPD has recently installed a new badging and biometric access control system at FCS, necessitating a revision to OPPD's response to ICM B.4.h. A system for the badging and biometric access control equipment has been developed and incorporated to provide notification and the required response to the type of situation stated in ICM B.4.h. All of the requirements of ICM B.4.h are met.
