SUBJECT:

Fort Calhoun Station Unit No. 1, Request Use of Subsequent Editions and Addenda to 10 CFR Part 50.55a Requirements Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a(f)(4)(iv) and (g)(4)(iv), Fort Calhoun Station (FCS) requests approval to use the requirements set forth in subsequent editions and addenda that are incorporated by reference in paragraph (b) of 10 CFR 50.55a, subject to the limitations and modifications listed in paragraph (b) of 10 CFR 50.55a, as approved by the Commission in the September 26, 2002 (67 FR 60520), Federal Register, with an effective date of October 28, 2002.

This request is in reference to the fourth 120 month inservice test plan and inservice inspection plan, Reference 2, which utilizes the above approved edition and addenda. The proposed FCS ISI Program Plan, submitted to the NRC for approval November 5, 2002, incorporates the requirements of the ASME Section XI Code (1998 Edition, through 2000 Addenda) for NDE examinations and repair/replacement, and the O&M Manual (1998 Edition, through 2000 Addenda) for pump and valve testing.
