Pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section VI, Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), submits this letter to provide notification of changes to the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP) EROS link software. The change to the EROS link software involves changing from the EROS Plant Information (Pl) Interface to the R*TIME EROS Interface and the use of new R*TIME PPCS Servers. These changes will be going into effect by December 15, 2019.
Concurrent with the implementation of the above changes, several data points will be modified in the MNGP Data Point Library (DPL). Enclosure 1 provides the updated MNGP EROS DPL, including the following four updated computer points:
PRM500FR, point ID of "STACK EFF RAD A 15MRUN", is replaced by PRM121 FA.
PRM501 FR, point ID of "STACK EFF RAD B 15MRUN", is replaced by PRM122FA.
PRM123FR, point ID of "RBV EFFLUENT MONITOR CHA 15MAVG" is replaced by PRM123FA.
PRM124FR, point ID of"RBV EFF MONITOR CHB 15MAVG", is replaced by PRM124FA.
Note that the MNGP R*Tf ME network configuration is also summarized within Section 1, "General Description", of Enclosure 1.
This notification satisfies the reporting criteria of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section Vl.3.a, which requires notification within 30 days after the changes are made for any software or hardware changes to any transmitted data points identified in the DPL.
CONTAINS SECURITY-RELATED INFORMATION WITHHOLD UNDER 10 CFR 2.390 Document Control Desk Page 2 to this letter contains Security Related Information that could pose an enterprise security risk if made publicly available; therefore, NSPM requests that Enclosure 2 be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
