Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No.1 and No. 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 l License Amendment Request Nos. 214 and 81 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company (DLC) requests an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications.

The proposed amendment would modify Specification 3.7.1.1 " Safety Valves" and its associated Bases to incorporate the Improved Standard Technical Specification (ISTS) guidance of NUREG-1431 and the recommendations of Westinghouse Nuclear Safety Advisory Letter (NSAL) 94-01 dated January 20,1994.

Proposed technical specification changes for Unit No. I and Unit No. 2 are ,

presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including no i significant hazard evaluation) is presented in Attachment B. /
