SELECT SYSTEM REVIEW NOVEMBER 1987 PROGRESS DESIGN BASIS RECONSTITUTION A vendor was selected and released to work on performance of a
risk based assessment of historic Plant Change/Modifications.
Reconstituted design basis documents are expected to be issued for trial use in December.
SAFETY ENGINEERING GROUP SEG REVIEW The SEG Unit 3 closeout report was issued on schedule on November ll, 1987.
The System Engineers are reviewing the report and will have corrective actions initiated where necessary by mid-January.
CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT Revisions to the affected drawings resulting from implementation of Select System modifications during the Unit 3 Refueling Outage are scheduled for completion by January 11I 1988.
OTHER SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS 0
Closed various nonconformance reports (NCRs) on the Intake Cooling Water (ICW)
System (details available on request.
Revised procedure 3/4-0SP-49.1 to include bistable tag and status suffix for Reactor Protection System.
Labelled protection racks and associated equipment.
0 Confirmed corrections to FSAR for Reactor Protection System.
Updated various Reactor Protection System related procedures and the system descriptions.
0 Analyzed failure of DC busses during maintenance and the effects of cross connecting with a battery out of service.
Confirmed corrections to FSAR for Vital Power System.
