St. Lucie Units I and 2 Docket Nos. 50-335 and 50-389 IE Bul let in 85-03 By letter L-86-204 dated May l5, l986, Florida Power Bc Light Company (FPL) submitted design basis information and program plans/schedules for St. Lucie Units I and 2 as required by IE Bulletin 85-03, "Motor-Operated Valve Common Mode Failures During Plant Transients Due to Improper Switch Settings."
The schedule for completion of the motor-operated valve testing was provided as November l4, l 987.
This testing has been completed on St. Lucie Unit I and is in the process of being completed on St. Lucie Unit 2.
The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC that this testing was not completed by the above date for St. Lucie Unit 2, and to provide the expected completion date.
Three 'valves associated with the auxiliary feedwater system remain to be tested.
These valves will be tested when the conditions can be established during the startup from the current St. Lucie Unit 2 Cycle 3/4 refueling outage.
