Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-25 I-Performance Enhancement Program Pro'ect I
Task 4 The Performance Enhancement Program (PEP) for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 is the subject of a NRC Confirmatory Order dated August l2, 1986.
In accordance with Section IV of that order, FPL requests the following changes to Project I
Task 4.
TASK 4.4

Convert contractor entrance building to a security complex.
REQUESTED CHANGE: Provide the I & C building for use as the security building TASK 4.5 Convert existing maintenance building to chemistry and apprentice training facility.
REQUESTED CHANGE Provide for chemistry and apprentice training facilities.
TASK 4.IO Provide a contaminated motor overhaul facility REQUESTED CHANGE:
Provide for contaminated motor overhaul capability.

The requested changes are based on the following:
TASK 4.4 The I & C personnel will be utilizing the new maintenance building allowing the security group to use the I & C building.

U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission L-87-229 Page two TASK 4.5 Maintenance apprentice training and chemistry training will be held in separate buildings, the new training center and the new maintenance building, respectively.
Chemistry Hot Lab training will be provided in the auxiliary building.
The existing maintenance building will be used for storage or other uses TASK 4.IO Westinghouse Nuclear Service Integratiqn Division has been contracted to perform contaminated motor overhauling at its off-site facilities.
We have discussed these changes with members of the Region II staff.
We request approval of the aforementioned changes and incorporation in PEP.
