Dear Mr. Varga:
Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Vent / Purge Valve Operability By your letter dated August 17, 1984, you requested schedular information en the Turkey Point 54 and 48 inch containment purge valves.
In response to this request, the following -infonnation is provided:
1.
The bolts in the operators for the 54 inch valves (see L-84-86, April 2, 1984), for Unit 3 are scheduled to be replaced during the next refueling outage (Spring '85). They have been replaced for Unit 4.
2.-3. In order to allow for thorough internal review and approval, we intend to submit the containment aurge valve related, proposed technical specifications, by January 2,1985. The interim operation limit of 200 hours0.00231 days <br />0.0556 hours <br />3.306878e-4 weeks <br />7.61e-5 months <br /> per year is being re-evaluated in light of the resolution of the operability concerns. The installation schedule for the purge talve debris screens is dependent on the technical specification, and will be submitted with the technical specification.
