& Offsite Dose Calculation Manual In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, Florida Power
& Light Company submi ts herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating License DPR-31 and 41.
Florida Power
& Light submitted proposed amendments to Appendix A of the Turkey Point Technical Specifications on April 17, 1979 (L-79-92).
The
., proposed amendments were for changes to the Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETS) pursuant to NUREG 0472.
The attached is the results of our recent review and updating of that submittal.
This proposed amendment and Offsite Dose Calculation MIanual is submitted wi th the understandi ng that some additional changes may be forthcoming following discussions with the NRC regarding the St. Lucie Unit 2 RETS.
It should also be noted that we require a sufficient amount of time between approval of the amendment and implementation of its requirements.
This time is necessary to allow for procedure writing and personnel training.
It has been determined that this represents a Class 1 and III amendment.
A check for $4400 in accordance wi th 10 CFR 170.22 will follow under separate cover.
The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the Turkey Point Plant Nuclear Safety Committee and the Florida Power
& Light Company Nuclear Review Boar d.
