St. Lucie Unit 2 Docket No. 50-389 Construction Pro ress U date Attached is a report of the construction/startup progress for St. Lucie Unit 2 for October, 1980.

Florida Power 8 Light Company (FPL) committed during the NRC Caseload Review Panel site visit on September 30 and October 1 and 2, 1980 to provide this information to you. It is our intent to submit this report monthly to keep you informed of the St.

Lucie Unit 2 construction/startup progress so that a timely reassessment of the NRC projected fuel load date can be made, and the operating license review schedule modified accordingly.
