Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) submitted an application for amendment of the Unit 3 and 4 licenses in Reference 1. Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) hereby supplements Reference 1 for Unit 4. The Reference 1 application requested a change in the implementation date of License Amendment No. 229 (Reference 2) for Turkey Point Unit 4 until September 30, 2012. This supplement revises the Reference 1 application to request a change in the implementation date of License Amendment No. 229 for Turkey Point Unit 4 until February 28, 2011.
The attachments to this letter contain measures FPL will implement as license conditions to provide additional criticality margin in the Unit 4 spent fuel pool. Due to the addition of License Condition 3.H, pagination requires an additional page (6).
FPL has determined that the additional information provided in this correspondence does not impact the conclusions of the No Significant Hazards Consideration determination in Reference 1.
