Units I and 2 Docket Nos. 50-335 and 50-389 Request for Change in Implementation Date On February 12, 2009, FPL requested a change to the St. Lucie Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications (TSs) to delete those portions of the TSs superseded by 10 CFR Part 26, Subpart I, consistent with NRC approved Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF) Improved Standard Technical Specification Change Traveler, TSTF-51 1, "Eliminate Working Hour Restrictions from TS 5.2.2 to Support Compliance with 10 CFR Part 26," Revision 0. On May 27, 2008, the NRC approved the TS change in amendments 208 and 156 for Units I and 2, respectively, effective on issuance with implementation within the next 60 days.

FPL requested implementation of the TS changes concurrent with implementation of the new 10 CFR 26, Subpart I requirements, which become effective on October 1, 2009. FPL requests that the implementation date for St. Lucie Units I and 2 TS amendments 208 and 156 coincide with the Part 26 Rule effective date of October 1, 2009.
