Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 5501 North State Route 2 Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449 419-321-7676 Emergency Response Data System (EROS) Change to Current Virtual Private Network Pursuant to 1 O CFR 50, Appendix E, Vl.3.b, the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) is hereby notifying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of its intent to implement a change to the Emergency Response Data System virtual private network (VPN) that is currently scheduled to take place on December 11, 2019. The existing EROS information flow path is through a VPN device located at a centralized corporate location with communication protocols reflecting this path. FENOC intends to install a new VPN device, with associated communication protocols, at an on-site location at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
