Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 Changes to Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Emergency Plan 5501 North State Route 2 Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449 419-321-7676 10 CFR 50, App. E 10 CFR 50.54(q) 10 CFR 72.44 The purpose of this letter is to transmit Revision 31 to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS) Emergency.Plan. This Emergency Plan Revision was revised effective December 21, -2016, but was not submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) as required by 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5). This issue was identified by DBNPS Internal Oversight and has been captured in the Corrective Action Program.
On July 12, 2017, the most recent revision of the DBNPS Emergency Plan, Revision 32 effective June 29, 2017, was submitted to the NRC via letter L-17-226.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q), Revision 31 to the Emergency Plan did not result in a reduction in effectiveness of the Emergency Plan, as changed, and it continued to satisfy the applicable requirements of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and 10 CFR 50, Appendix E. Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5), the DBNPS hereby submits Revision 31 of the DBNPS Emergency Plan as Enclosure A. A summary of the changes to the DBNPS Emergency Plan are included in the 10 CFR 50.54(q) Screening Report as Enclosure B.
