Ohio 43449 419-321-7676 Fax: 419-321-7582 Representative for Alternative Dispute Resolution in regards to Apparent Violation EA-16-022 In letter EA-16-022 dated May 17, 2016 (reference NRC Inspection Report No.
05000346/2016008), the NRC notified the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) of an Apparent Violation at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS).
On May 27, 2016, FENOC verbally requested from the NRC to use the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process to resolve the Apparent Violation. FENOC plans to have Mr. Philip E. Troy, a sole-practitioner attorney at law, attend the ADR session scheduled for July 21, 2016. Mr. Troy is authorized by FENOC to attend and participate in the ADR meeting on its behalf.
