This application for an amendment to the James A. FitzPatrick Technical Specifications adds operability and surveillance requirements to Tables 3.12.1 and 4.12.1 to reflect a plant modification that willimprove fire protection at the Authority's FitzPatrick nuclear power plant. The modification installs an automatic fire suppressior system in the battery room corridor. The Authority committed to install this modif tcation prior to restart from the current refueling outage (Roference 1).
The signed original of the Application for Amendment to Operati g License is enclosed for firing. Attachments I ared 11 to this application contain the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications and the associated Safety Evaluation.
