SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE JUNE 1985 The FitzPatrick plant returned to service on June 1,1985 af ter completing a refueling and maintenance outage and commenced cycle 7. On June 4th the plant was shutdown to_ investigate high vibration in the generator exciter bearing. Repair was completed and the unit returned to service on June 9th.

On June 10th a Reactor Scram occurred due to a false high steam flow signal, the result of personnel error. A complete review of the incident was conducted and the plant returned to service on June 12th. On June 24th a Reactor Scram occurred due to personnel unlocking "B" recirculation pump scoop tube which in turn caused flow oscillations and a high neutron flux condition. A critique of the event is underway and the LER forthcomming.

i The unit returned to service on June 26th.

At the enel of the reporting period the FitzPatrick plant is operating at approximately 798 Mw, .
