SUMMARY

The Fitzpatrick Plant operated at slightly reduced power during this reporting period due to high lake temperatures causing a low condenser vacuum.

On 840805 the plant was taken off line to repair a RECIRC pump seal and returned to service on 840811.

NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE AUGUST 1984 The'FitzPatrick plant operated at slightly reduced power for this period due to low condenser vacuum caused by high lake temperatures.

On 840805 the unit was taken off-line to investigate drywell leakage less than 5gpm.

The source of leakage was found to be a failed recirculation pump seal which was repaired and the plant returned to service on 840811.

At the end of the reporting period the FitzPatrick plant is operating at approximately 746 MW
