Inspection Report
Inspection Report are issued periodically to document inspection findings and other NRC inspection activities. These may cover a specific time period for the baseline inspection or a particular event or problem examined in a reactive inspection. Inspection Reports are generated quarterly for each nuclear plant to document inspections/activities by Resident Inspectors in the previous 3 months. All inspection reports are public documents and, when issued, are posted to the NRC’s internet web site.
The NRC perform periodic inspection procedures. Within 45 days of the completion of the inspection the NRC issue an inspection report. Alternatively, an inspection may "roll" into the NRC Resident Quarterly inspection report.
