Areas Inspected:
Included a review of the Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Management Effectiveness; Security Organization; Security Program Audit; Records and Reports; Testing and Maintenance, Locks, Keys and Combinations; Physical Barriers - Protected and Vital Areas; Compensatory Measures, Assessment Aids; Access Control - Personnel, Packages and Vehicles; Detection Aids - Protected and Vital Areas; Alarm Stations: Communications and Safeguards Information. The inspection began during the day shift.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined, except for the following item.
Security Organization - The physical ability testing for some security officers was not conducted in accordance with security plan commitments.
