During the course of the hearing, a number of questions were raised by the A51.3 and intervencrs with regard to inspection requirements and pro:edures for the spent fuel casks. We have made a-cemitment to the Scard to respend to these questions at the time the hearing reconvenes.
It is my understanding that Mr. William McNeill, a member of the I&E egion IV staff, has been involved in this area and is knowledgeable of . the inspection requirements. Members of my staff f ave talked with Mr.
McNaill, and discussed the need for someone to testify as to the fabrication inspections of spent fuel casks. Mr. McNeill was receptive to the idea and is willing to participate in this proceeding.
