This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated March 20, 1997, in response

to our letter dated February 18, 1997, transmitting a Notice of Violation associated with Inspection Report No. 50-456;457/96021(DRP). We have reviewed i

your corrective actions and have no further questions at this time. These

'

i corrective actions will be exaiained during future inspections.

l In order to clarify some of the information in your response in the section entitled " Corrective Actions Taken to Prevent Recurrence (la-h), your staff

provided the following additional underlined information:

'

The review of procedure classifications will be conducted for All Maintenance and Operations procedures and is expected to be completed by June 1997.

,

At least igul significant administrative procedures will be identified for fu;ure review and revisions, if necessary, to ensure clear and concise expectations.

In an effort to minimize the number of human errors at the station, including procedure adherence, all station personnel will attend at least two hours of Human Error Reduction Training by the end of 1997.

The Self-Check Simulator training for Maintenance, Health Physics, and Chemistry personnel will be completed by the end of 1997.
