LA CROSSE BOILING WATER REACTOR - NRC SECURITY
INSPECTION REPORT 05000409/2011003(DNMS)
Dear Mr. Brasel:
On May 5, 2011, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at the permanently shut down La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR) Nuclear Power Station. The enclosed inspection report documents the inspection results, which were discussed with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the on-site inspection on May 5, 2011.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the NRC=s rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel.
No findings of significance were identified.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
However, because of the security-related information contained in the enclosure, and in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, a copy of this letter=s enclosure will not be available for public inspection.
Enclosure Contain Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information. When separated from the enclosure, this transmittal letter is decontrolled. Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
