Thank you for your letter dated April 4,1988, in response to our Notice of Violation and Inspection Report No. 50-326/88-01, dated March 3, 1988, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the items which we brought te your attention. Your corrective actions will be verified during a future inspection.
With regard to calibration of emergency air sampling, air flow or volume metering devices, the regulatory position is stated in Paragraph C. of Regulatory Guide 8.25, Calibration and Error Limits of Air Sampling Instruments for Total Volume of Air Sampled, August 1980.
In addition, thank you for advising us of our error in properly identifying Professor M. Caserio as Chair of the Chemistry Department. We will correct our records.
