Areas Inspected:
Included a Site Orientation tour and review of Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Security Program Audit; Records and Reports; Testing and Maintenance; Physical Barriers - Protected and Vital Areas; Security System Power Supply; Detection Aids - Protected and Vital Areas; Alarm Stations; Licensee's Action on Previous Inspection Findings; and Independent Inspection Effort. The inspection involved 91 inspector hours onsite by two NRC inspectors. The inspection began during dayshift period; 30 of 91 inspectfon hours were accomplished during offshift periods.

Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during this inspection except for the following three items:
1.
Physical Barriers - Protected Arnss: The isolation zone along one side of the protected area perimeter was not maintained as required by the licensee's Security Plan (Paragraph 10.a).
2.
Detection Aids - Protected Area:
Some alarms did not have a capability required by the licensee's Security Plan (Paragraph 14.a).
3.
Alarm Stations: One of the alarm stations had a capability prohibited by the licensee's Security Plan (Paragraph 16.a).
Security concerns noted in the previous inspection were closed except for security key and lock control procedures and access authorizations to the control room. These two issues will be monitored during future inspections.
The licensee agreed to conduct a review of security procedures.
