IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY - U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000284/2022202

Dear Dr. Dunzik-Gougar:

From June 13 - 14, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC ) staff conducte d a security inspection at the Idaho State University research reactor facility. The inspectio n results were discussed on June 14, 2022, with you and membe rs of your staff. The enclosed report docume nts the inspection results.

The inspection examine d activities conducted under your license a s the y relate to security, compliance with the Commission rules and regulations, and w ith the condition s of your license.

The inspecto r reviewed selected procedure s and records, observed activiti es, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no security concerns or non-compliances with NRC requirements were identified. No response to this letter is required.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulation s (10 CFR) Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's docume nt system (Agencywide Documents Access and Management Syste m (ADAMS)).
