PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION - NRC PHYSICAL SECURITY BASELINE INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 05000277/2004008 AND 05000278/2004008
Dear Mr. Crane:
On May 17, 2004, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) completed the onsite portion of an inspection at your Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS). The enclosed report documents the inspection findings, which were discussed on May 20, 2004, with Mr. Joe Grimes, Plant Manager, Mr. Wayne Trump, Manager of Nuclear Security, and other members of your staff.
This inspection examined activities conducted under your licenses as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your licenses. Within these areas, the inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. The cover letter when detached from the enclosure contains Proprietary Information in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1) and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals could present a security vulnerability. Therefore, the material will not be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRCs document system (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
