Aneas Insoected:

Routine, unannounced physical security inspection by a regional based inspector and a headquarters based inspector.

Implementation of Accepted Security Plan relative to: Security Plan; protection of SNM; security organization; access control; alarm systems, surveillance; security program review; and, protection against radiological sabotage, licensee action on a previously identified item of noncompliance related to the frequency of MIT Reactor Safeguards Committee Meetings (78-06-02). This inspection was initiated during regular working hours and involved 32 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC regional based inspector and a headquarters based inspector.

Results: No items of noncompliance were found in any of the eight areas examined.
