- Generic Letter 88-20 Supplernent 4 requested an evaluation of the vulnerability of nuclear plants to certain specified external events (IPEEE). By letter dated September 18,1992 Georgia Power Company indicated that the Individual Plant Examination External Events (IPEEE) submittal would be provided by June 1995.
GPC mquests an extension of the schedule for the IPEEE submittal to January 31,1996.
This mquest is necessitated by the engineering work performed in response to the qualification of Thermo-Lag fim barrier material issue. This m-engineering, only recently completed, precluded the analytical work necessary *o produce a probabilistic evaluation of the plant risk due to fire. Consequently, the 11'EEE will not be availabic~
for submittal until the later part of this year.
