| Title | Failure of the Plant Integrated Computer System (Pics) |
| Event Description | At 1305 hours0.0151 days <br />0.363 hours <br />0.00216 weeks <br />4.965525e-4 months <br /> [EDT] on 5/28/05, the Plant Integrated Computer (PICS) failed. This process computer provides Safety [Parameter] Display System (SPDS) and Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). Troubleshooting efforts and repairs were performed and ERDS/SPDS were returned to service at 15:55 [hrs.] on 5/28/2005. All redundant plant data indicators, annunciators and recorders functioned normally during the PICS outage.
The licensee will be notifying the New York State Public Service Commission and the NRC Resident Inspector. |
