PG&E letter DCL 95-.092, dated May 5,1995, requested an exemption to 10 CFR 73.55td'.(b) and provided a draft of proposed changes to the Diablo Canyon Power >!aqt's Physical Security Plan (PSP). PG&E letter DCL 95-161, dated July 28.1995, contained a revision to the draft submitted in May. tc *iis letter proposes revisions to clarify issues which were identified on 3e stember 15 and 18,1995, during conversations with the NRC staff. Enclosure 1 includes a description of the changes made as a result of the telephone conversations. to this letter proposes a revision to clarify issues, which were identified on September 6 and 7,1995, during telephone conversations with the NRC staff. Subsequent tc approval of the requested exemption described in the Enclosure 2, PG&E will submit a fo'rmai request for changes to the PSP in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p).
The hand geometry system is scheduled for imp!ementation on or about September 22,1995. PG&E requests approval of this exemption prior to September 22,1995.
