Dear Mr. Knighton:
On Pay 7,1984, PGandE submitted Volumes -I, II, III, and IV of the Final Report of the Seismically Induced Systems Interaction Program (SISIP) which provided the results of the SISIP for Unit 1 Following a comprehensive verification of each Unit 1 SISIP interaction file and its resolution, PGandE letter dated October 2,1984 transmitted Volumes V, VI, and VII containing all the Unit 1 Interaction Data Sheets (IDSs).
Enclosed are five copies of Revision 1 to PGandE's SISIP Final Report.
This revision documents the results of the SISIP for Unit 2, thereby fulfilling PGandE's commitment noted in SER Supplement 11 for performing and documenting a SISIP.
Since formally printed copies of Revision 1 will be submitted by mid-May 1985, only five copies of this report are being provided to the NRC 4
Staff at this time.
Distribution to the service list will be made after printed copies are available.
I Revision 1 provides changes to Volumes I and III and the addition of a new Volume VIII as summarized below:
1 The Foreword and Chapters'1, 8, 9,10 and 11 (all contained in Volume I) o are revised.in total to reflect the Unit 2 effort and to incorporate the Unit 2 results and minor revisions to the Unit 1 data. Revision bars are provided to indicate changes. The minor revisions to the thit 1 data are principally a result of the verification of SISIP interaction files described above.

o Attachments 14 and 15 are added to include sample Unit 2 IDSs. Anew Volume VIII will be provided to accommodate the formally printed version of Attachments 14 and 15. 6 will be submitted within 90 days of the issuance of this submittal and will provide a verified, word-processed version of all Unit 2 IDSs, similar to the Unit 1 IDSs previously submitted as Volumes V, VI, and VII.
PGandE's November 29, 1984 letter indicated that the completion of all modifications resulting from the SISIP on Unit 2, including final inspection, would occur prior to the issuance of an operating license. A limited number of Unit 2 modifications identified in the enclosed SISIP report have not been completed.
PGandE will notify the NRC staff of the completion of all modifications and final inspections prior to Unit 2 fuel loading.
