All required regulatory approvals have been obtained and the transaction (closing) date is set for October 1, 2015.

This letter fulfills the notification requirement specified in the Order.

There are no new or revised regulatory commitments in this letter.

ATTACHMENT 1 CNR0-2015-00020 Evidence of Required Insurance

September 15, 2015 Mr. Eric Olvera Financial Analyst U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission DC, 20555 Re: Entergy Louisiana, LLC Sent via Email NRC Operating License Transfers for the Waterford and River Bend Nuclear Power Stations

Dear Mr. Olvera,

This letter confirms that American Nuclear Insurers will write nuclear liability insurance for the newly formed Entergy Louisiana, LLC for the Waterford and River Bend nuclear power stations.

As of the dates of the license transfers, which are expected to be in early October 2015, we will amend the policy and certificates for the Waterford nuclear power station as follows:

a. Facility Form Policy No. NF -0263: ANI will amend the named insured to "Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc." in lieu of "Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc." Even though it is not necessary to change the named insured for this policy because the names are exactly the same, we have elected to do so in order to provide documentation to you that we are willing to write nuclear liability insurance for the newly formed Entergy Louisiana, LLC.

d. SFP Certificate No. N -0086: ANI will add the newly formed "Entergy Louisiana, LLC" to the Bond for payment of retrospective premiums. The newly formed Entergy Louisiana, LLC is assuming all past and future liabilities of the former Entergy Louisiana, LLC for the payment of retrospective premiums.

We will also amend the policy and certificates for the River Bend nuclear power station as follows:

a.

Facility Form Policy No. NF -0286: ANI will amend the named insured to "Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc." in lieu of "Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations Inc."

b. Master Worker Certificate No. NW -0641: ANI will amend the named insured to "Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc." in lieu of "Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc."
c.

SFP Certificate No. N -0100: ANI will amend the named insured to reflect "Entergy Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc." in lieu of "Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, LLC and Entergy Operations, Inc."

d. SFP Certificate No. N -0100: ANI will add "Entergy Louisiana, LLC" to the Bond for payment of retrospective premiums. Entergy Louisiana, LLC is assuming all past and future liabilities of Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, LLC for the payment of retrospective premiums.

The commitment to write insurance for the Waterford and River Bend nuclear power stations remains valid thru December 31, 2015. In the event the license transfers occur after this date, ANI review the circumstances to our commitment to provide
